Paper Planes & Mascara started after my first backpacking trip through Southeast Asia.

At the time, I had never traveled outside of the United States and honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into.

What began as a way to document that adventure slowly evolved into something much bigger — somewhere between travel writing and personal reflection.

This space is a collection of stories shaped by movement, independence, femininity, and the vulnerability of experiencing unfamiliar places alone. The places I've been, the people I've met, and the quiet ways travel changes you over time.
